More scenes of Raro

Homes in Raro normally have tombs of ancestors
and indeed there are few graveyards on the island
.... most people are buried on their land. Kind of
a permanent land claim!

Just another lovely sunset in Raro :)

  1. Seija, what wonderful pictures you're taking! Your stories and comments are a pleasant pause in our sometimes hectic days. We've just finished a Stampede that's been like no other - death of several horses, a ride running off the track with 6 teens still in hospital, hail storm the size of golf balls in certain parts of the city, etc. As usual, I stayed away...makes me wish I was with you on your island paradise. Love and take care . . . I look forward to your next adventure.

  2. You just are making more homesick for travel and for us to be venturing a trip together. I love all your pictures and wish that you would send them to a paper. Love Mickey
